How do I reserve a hotel room?

Room reservations at the special NEDA Conference room block rate of, if booked on or before September 23, 2014 can be made online at the time you complete the online conference registration. You may go back and edit your registration and hotel reservation by clicking here.

What is the suggested daytime attire for the Conference?

Business casual attire is recommended.

Go Airport Shuttle
GO Airport Shuttle is San Antonio International Airport's authorized and single shared-ride shuttle service. Shuttles depart from 7 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. daily to downtown hotels every 15 minutes. Passengers may purchase tickets at the airport's baggage claim area.

Book online and receive an additional discount. Online rates are $19.00 to downtown hotels and $34.00 for a roundtrip ticket.

There will be a text box labeled, "Discount/Comp Code" where you can enter your specific code on the first page of your online conference registration. If you have any questions or have misplaced your specific code, please contact NEDA Registration Headquarters at .

How do I apply for a Scholarship to attend a NEDA Conference?

NEDA offers scholarships to cover the cost of registration for non-professionals, and gives priority to first-time attendees. For first consideration, please submit the online application by June 1st. Funds will be awarded on an ongoing basis, as long as funds are available. To submit an application, click here. 

We will be contacting all applicants via email (or standard mail if an email address is not available) to notify of the award decisions. Please do not contact NEDA to check on the status of your application.

How do I apply to be a Volunteer at a NEDA Conference?

NEDA offers a volunteer discounted registration rate of $300 (must be 18 years old and above). Volunteers will be assigned a limited number of tasks. Outside of those select tasks, they are free to engage in the conference as they please.

Who do I contact about Sponsorships or Exhibiting at the NEDA conference?

For information about sponsor and exhibitor opportunities, select the Exhibitor/ Sponsor tab on this Conference website. Upon receipt of your exhibit booth and additional sponsorship selection payment, you will be sent your registration code for your primary booth staff, and additional discounted booth staff.

Are Continuing Education Units (CEUs) available?

Continuing Education (CE) credit hours will be offered at the 2014 NEDA Conference. Details are located on the Continuing Education tab of this website. Once NEDA receives final approval for total credit hours available, all registrants will be sent an email announcement with the total credits possible. You may opt to pre-pay the fee of $30 during the conference online registration process. You may also pay on-site.
